The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on all flights. A GACA statement said that the measure bans passengers from using the smartphones, carrying them in their hand or shipped luggage or recharging them in-flight.

The Saudi regulatory authority urged all airlines to draw the attention of their passengers to comply with the ban before boarding planes. In case a passenger carries a Galaxy Samsung Note 7 by mistake, he should be ordered immediately to shut it down.
