Tanushree Dutta is making headlines with her accusations of harassment against veteran actor Nana Patekar. She blamed the actor of misbehaving with her on the sets of the film Horn Ok Please sets in 2010. Several Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Richa Chadha, Twinkle Khanna, Raveena Tandon, Swara Bhasker and others came up in support of the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress Tanushree.
Recently, during an event Salman Khan was also asked to comment on Tanushree and Nana Patekar row. To which Salman replied, ‘’I am not aware of this. Let me understand what is happening and I am sure the legal teams will handle that.” He even suggested the mediapersons to ask questions which are related to the event and no other questions.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Ishita Dutta broke her silence and supporting her sister Tanushree said that she is setting an example. In an interview with Bollywoodlife.com, Ishita was quoted saying as, “What she is trying to achieve is that she is trying to set an example. If something like this happens, it is not your fault. You should not shy away from it. And speak about it.”
She further said, “I still remember, I was at home and I saw the video; people jumping on the car, banging the glass, the horrified and terrified face of my sister and family. I was so scared because I wasn’t there with them. I didn’t know what to do. That memory will never go away.”
Actress and Indian author Twinkle Khanna supporting Tanushree tweeted, ‘’Please read this thread before judging or shaming #TanushreeDutta a working environment without harassment and intimidation is a fundamental right and by speaking up this brave woman helps pave the way towards that very goal for all of us!’’
Tanushree recently returned from the US, made these shocking revelations in a series of media interviews.
