Aligarh: Kashmiri students studying in Aligarh Muslim University threatened to leave the university on October 17, if cases against the three colleagues are not withdrawn. AMU Student’s union Vice President Sajjad Rathar said if the campaign to defame them doesn’t stop, nearly 1200 Kashmiri students will leave for their houses on October 17. They told this in a letter submitted to the university Vice-Chancellor. A large number of students belonging to the valley were present on the occasion.

Sajjad Rathar said all agencies have confirmed that Ghaebana namaz of Mannan Wani was not offered in the campus. Even then booking Kashmiri students on the charges of sedition is harassment and injustice.

It must be noted that sedition case has been booked against an attempt to offer ghaebana namaz of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Mannan Basheer Wani.
